about my approach to life coaching
ATHLETES ADVANTAGE LLC
Hello, my name is Quinn Trabulsy. My life coaching business, Athlete’s Advantage, is currently accepting new clients for athletes in all sports, as well as non-athletes. I am a 27-year-old college graduate who grew up in Chittenden County, VT and played high level lacrosse at the national and collegiate levels. After college, I began coaching club lacrosse and doing private and small group lacrosse trainings. Through on-field coaching, I found meaning in building trust and mentoring relationships with young people. I have received parent feedback regarding the difference my mentorship has made in my client’s lives beyond athletics.
Through this realization, I decided to obtain certification in youth/parent life coaching. I am now a certified life coach through WCI. My focus is child/ adolescent life coaching with a concentration in supporting young athletes and other people processing decisions, stressors and competition. Additionally, I am available for parent coaching focusing on how parents can support their kids through this exciting but stressful time.
As a teen, I struggled with anxiety, and poor decision making, resulting in loss of opportunities both in athletics and life in general. As I look back on this time in my life, I realize how valuable engaging in life coaching/ mentorship could have been for me. It is important for young people to have a formally trained support system outside of friends and family to help them develop into their best, authentic selves with the fewest missteps.
These are the skills I can assist with:
• Self confidence
• Improve productivity and focus
• Improve overall work performance
• Athletic Decision making - School choice, recruitment, showcases etc.
• Framing substance use decisions in the context of life goals
• Parent child relationship and decision making harmony between parents and children
• Improve time management, stress management, prioritization
• Improve self-confidence, self-compassion, and self-esteem
• Improve collaboration and teamwork skills
• Improve communication skills
• Better balance or harmony of work and personal life
• Better balance of physical health and emotional health
• Better mental clarity, improved mental fitness
• Better engagement
• Better leadership and management skills
• Improve decision-making skills

• Improve resiliency and grit
• Finding purpose, meaning, and passions in life
• Manage stress and build healthy habits for stress management
Inherent in life coaching, is client confidentiality except in instances of imminent intentional harm to self or others. My goal is to build trust and be a reliable and safe outlet for your children.
Life coaching IS NOT THERAPY. I do not diagnose or treat any conditions. I do not prescribe. Life coaching is not covered by insurance.
The best time to start life coaching is before problems that are common in the teenage years arise.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with your child and you in what I deem to be the most important aspect of development. My philosophy is that sports, hobbies and extracurriculars serve as vehicles for lessons, growth and self-development.
I have a secure, HIPAA compliant link for video calls with clients that I can send you/ your child.
